Booker and Antman will probably be the core of Team USA in 4 years, and they'll need some good big men as well. I'm 99.9% sure LeBron, Steph and KD won't be around in 4 years. If it were up to me Team USA sends their A-Team for the WC in 2 years again already, now that the games have become so competitive, exciting and fun to watch, I want to see a great tournament like this as soon as possible again.

You can't even really compare MJ and LeBron. MJ fought himself up to the top and once he made it to the finals he made it there every year and always found a way to win. LeBron kept losing after becoming champion and even lost 2 out of the 4 Miami super team finals.

I'm a Suns fan since starting playing/watching basketball in '92 after seeing Barkley and the Dream Team on TV and I still don't like KD since the Warriors thing and I absolutely loved the young OKC KD/Westbrook/Harden team. I actually strongly dislike all of these three guys now. I always liked the young teams Penny/Shaq Magic, Marbury/Garnett Wolves, Stoudamire/Camby Raptors, Bogues/LJ/Mourning Hornets etc.

I loved they didn't let Embiid play against Sudan, but I hated not seeing AD and Bam on the court together. Also KD's almost 100% 8/9 game against Serbia was sick, the one shot he didn't make was to close, if it had been another 3 he'd probably made it.

The 82 games season obviously takes a lot of effort from the players out of it and a lot of excitement away from the viewers. There's zero doubt about this, since playoff ball is literally a different thing. They would never do this because of money, but make it a 58 game season and 3 game series, would be so much more exciting to watch.
